ENVE Sigma Exclusive Melee Ultegra Di2 Road Bike
The ENVE Sigma Exclusive Melee Ultegra Di2 Road Bike is a modern road racing bike that embodies ENVE’s Real-World Fast™ philosophy, designed for agility, responsiveness, and speed. With up to 35 mm of tyre clearance, the Melee excels in a range of racing environments, from criteriums to classics. Drawing inspiration from ENVE’s Custom Road, the Melee prioritises efficiency and speed, focusing on power transmission, aerodynamics, and versatility.
Built to perform with 27 to 32 mm tyres, the Melee is engineered for competitive riders demanding top performance. The bike’s design complements ENVE’s SES™ wheel line, ensuring that aerodynamic efficiency places it among the fastest road bikes. Tube shapes are tailored to enhance the SES™ rim profiles, while the Integrated Front-End keeps wires and hoses hidden for optimised aerodynamics.
Developed using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and tested in the wind tunnel, the Melee features refined tube shapes for maximum aerodynamic performance. Wind tunnel testing at 32 kph and 48 kph proves the Melee’s readiness for high-speed racing.
Real-World Fast™ Defined:
Aero efficiency balanced with weight savings
Tube shapes complement SES rim designs
Integrated Front-End hides wires and brake cables for a sleek look
Integrated for Speed: The Melee’s Integrated Front-End routes wires and hoses internally through the bar, stem, and headset, secured with ENVE’s anti-rattle kit for a silent and aerodynamic ride. The design features a two-piece Integrated Aero Stem and SES AR Handlebar, combining practicality with aerodynamic benefits.
Integrated Aero Stem: Debuting with the Melee, the new Integrated Aero Stem offers a streamlined design that hides cables, wires, and brake hoses. Available in a range of lengths, it is also compatible with the ENVE x K-Edge Aero Stem accessory and computer mount.
Aero Seatpost: The Melee’s aero seatpost includes a Kamm tail design and ENVE’s twin-bolt saddle rail clamp, available in straight or 20 mm setback options. It supports 7×7, 7×9, and 7×10 mm saddle rails for flexibility.
Material Optimised Design (M.O.D.): ENVE’s expertise in carbon fibre ensures the Melee is crafted with continuous fibres throughout the frame and fork, removing excess material to save weight while maximising impact resistance, stiffness, and compliance. The result is a race bike that delivers exactly what’s needed for peak performance.
35 mm of Freedom: While the Melee’s geometry is optimised for 27 to 32 mm tyres, it offers flexibility with clearance for up to 35 mm tyres, providing additional speed and comfort when required.
Threaded T47 Bottom Bracket: The Melee features a threaded T47 inboard-bearing bottom bracket for smooth, silent, and creak-free performance, allowing riders to focus on the road ahead.
